When a moving consultant comes to your home for a quote, they will survey the goods in your home that need to be moved. The consultant will calculate the number of movers needed, the truck required, the weight, packing requirements and any other charges that may be related to your move. We recommend that you show everything that you want to be moved so that the moving consultant can provide a reliable estimate.

Sometimes a moving consultant may ask to go through your closets, cabinets and other areas in your home. This helps them determine how many boxes that may be required.

We recommend that you give as much notice as possible. Movers can book up quickly months in advance, especially during the summer. We suggest that you should contact a mover at least six weeks prior. Never leave it to the last minute.
